Force India’s 2008 F1 car

Force India has launched their 2008 Formula One car on 7th February. They are confident enough that it would mark the start of better performances. The Ferrari VJM01 was unveiled in front of the crowd near Gateway of India in Mumbai. Force India raced as Spyker last season. It was renamed as Force India by Indian billionaire Vijay Mallya. Force India has already already confirmed Italian Giancarlo Fisichella and German Adrian Sutil as their drivers. Budget for this season is set for $120 million. This is $50 million more than last year. No demonstration lap was shown to the crowd even though the drivers were present. The car’s first test run will be made in Barcelona circuit on February 25th. The first season for this new car is on March 16th in Australia. India will hold its first F1 grand prix by 2010. A new sports entertainment for cricket crazy India.
