Gillly finished the match with an excellent catch

I used to tell my friends that Indian cricket team will always miss a great chance in International cricket. Indians proved it again by losing the 7th match vs. Australia in Adelaide. Indians failed to reach an easy target of 204 and they managed to score 153, as a result, Aussies won the match by 50 runs. Michael Clarke was the Man of the Match for his brilliant knock of 79 in a crucial time in the innings.

When the match begun, Gilchrist cracked continuous fours and gave a shock for Indian fans. But Ishanth didn’t forget his job and took the wicket of Gilly. After Gilly’s wicket, Aussies started to collapse. But future captain of Australian cricket team Michael Clarke and Brad Hogg took the responsibility in adding scores to the score board. Their partnership added 72 crucial runs. Michael Clarke left as soon as Brad Hogg left the ground. Aussies didn’t go for an all out and they managed to score 203 in 50 overs.

When Indian innings started, Sachin went out just for 5 runs. Then Gambhir tried to take up India but he left the ground as soon as Pathan left. The strong batting order of Indians started to collapse. Yuvraj and Dhoni joined their hands to add runs to the score board. I thought this partnership will bring a victory for India as this partnership has brought many victories to India. But Yuvraj was caught in the deep when he tried for a six and Dhoni was run out. After these two dismissals, the probability of winning the match reduced a lot. Tail Enders failed to create any impact on the ground. Finally the match brought a victory for Aussies with a brilliant catch from Gilchrist. Now he has become the only wicket keeper to take most number of dismissals against any team.
