Our fate decided in just 14.4 mins

Many used to tell “Its march, sun will start to shoe its heat”. But, according to me if March comes, its time for board exams. Grounds will be silent, no road side cricket, flats will be silent etc. are indications of arrival of March. A year full of hard work decided in the way we express in 3 hours. But how many of you know that our fate in board exam is decided in just 14.4 minutes??? Yes, it’s true; a student of Delhi University has found out that it takes an average of 14.4 minutes to evaluate a paper in board exams. It was really shocking for me that our fate in board exams is decided in just 14 minutes. Then what’s the use in the year full of hard work??? CBSE has disclosed that it takes 5 to 6 hours for an examiner to evaluate 25 sheets. If no break is taken by the examiner, it will take 14 minutes for a paper. 14 minutes is enough for a Mathematics paper, but what about the language papers??? The examiner is paid Rs 8 per paper he evaluates. Just think about the standard of their evaluation. Every year one out of every seven students who appeared for board exams applied for re-evaluation. CBSE must take necessary steps to solve this problem, so that our education standard will improve.
