Manali is a beautiful hill station in the Himalayan Mountains of Himachal Pradhesh. It is located in an altitude of around 1950m. The places in and around Manali are of great significance to our Indian culture and heritage. If you stand at a place in Manali and turn around and see, it will be completely covered by mountain ranges with snow. Lots of apple trees can be seen around.
One of the important places to visit in Manali is Rohtang pass which is at an altitude of 2600m. This is considered as the peak in Manali. It is the area of interest of adventurers. This place will be cold during summer also. It will be fully covered with snow. Roads to Rohtang Pass will be closed during winter season due to heavy snow fall. Some other tourist spot in Manali are Vashist (a small village, 3 km from Manali), Hadimba temple and Sollang Valley. Manali is a place which we should visit at least once in our life.
