Aishwarya Rai has signed the prestigious Shankar's film with Rajinikanth, tentatively called Robot. The deal was officially signed on 22nd of january afternoon, around 3.30 pm. The contract was sent to Bachchan's bungalow in Mumbai for the Bachchans' approval, and it was duly signed. Aishwarya Rai is charging Rs 1.5 crore for the film, which was initially meant to be a SRK and Deepika Padukone. The amount will be some sort of a landmark as no Rajini heroine has ever commanded such an astronomical fee so far. Shriya was allegedly paid Rs 30 lakh for Sivaji. Meanwhile, there seems to be some controversy around the title of this film. It seems that Shankar is planning to change the title of the movie to get tax relaxation. Robot is Shankar’s dream project.
